We present our new conference for the sun protection industry with a focus on strategy and innovation for the first time on 04.-05.11.2021 at Hotel Meliá in Vienna. Over 1.5 days, the program will include keynotes from leading industry representatives and experts in the fields of digitalization | innovations | tools for success. 

We provide input for manufacturers, craftsmen and suppliers with answers to the following questions:

How are the markets developing? What trends are emerging in the trade?
How will smart home become a successful model?
What are the market leaders planning?
How can sales be sustainably optimized?
What technical innovations will shape the future?




We look at innovation topics and at current opportunities and challenges of the industry. Ranging from the status quo of the European markets, their most important trends and success factors, to sales strategies in times of digitalization.

The impact of digitalization, new developments in terms of technological progress, product innovations in the field of smart technologies and the interplay between architecture and sun protection will be the thematic focus. Parallel to the lectures, our participants can expect two panel discussions, an evening event and an award ceremony.

In his keynote speech, he will present current challenges from the perspective of retail partners and important elements in the cooperation between retailers and manufacturers, as well as giving input on digital sales and the changes to be expected in this field.

    Robert Weitlaner has been involved in research and planning in the field of daylighting, installation, simulation and planning of daylighting products for many years. He heads the research and innovation team at the Austrian sun shading system manufacturer HELLA and is involved in various national and international research partnerships. In his lecture, he will present innovations in daylighting research.
